During pregnancy, many changes occur in the body of mothers. It is essential to pay attention to body care in order to be affected to a minimum by these changes which cause mothers to be concerned.
What are the factors that should be considered in body care during pregnancy?
Pregnancy is a period in which a woman will experience many changes quickly in her body. These changes are not limited to weight gain and body image changes. Due to various hormonal factors, almost every part of the body is affected. Many changes occur in the skin, hair, nails, teeth and gums.
What are the skin changes?
The most striking changes are those that occur on the skin. Problems may be experienced such as dryness of the skin of mothers, cracks in the breast and abdomen, spots called face mask, darkening of the skin color and increasing pimples.
What to do?
It is important for a mother to take care of her hygienic care and body care throughout her pregnancy in order to protect her body well. Glycerin-based soaps can be used to moisturize the skin instead of using normal soap for a woman who has dry skin. It is recommended to use body oils during bathing and apply moisturizing cream after leaving the bath.
